Are you ready to lead with passion and skill in the hospitality industry? Food & Beverage is searching for a Shift Supervisor to join our Events team. This role will also require you to support 33 Grill & Bar during breakfast shifts, ensuring exceptional service across both areas.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Leadership: Lead by example, motivating and guiding the team to deliver outstanding service.
• Customer Service: Demonstrate excellent people skills and an outgoing, engaging personality to ensure guests have a memorable experience.
• Operational Excellence: Manage shift operations effectively, ensuring seamless service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
• Events & Breakfast Service: Support the Events team and supervise breakfast shifts at 33 Grill & Bar, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences.
• Team Development: Foster a positive work environment through coaching and training team members.
• Passion for Food and Beverage: Share your enthusiasm for culinary excellence with both customers and colleagues.

Our perfect fit:

• Minimum of 12 months experience in an Events/Functions role providing exceptional food and beverage service preferably in a 4 or 5 Star environment.
• Passionate about Events and the customer's experience
• Highly organised, with exceptional time management skills
• High level attention to detail, and care for every aspect of the role
• Flexible, enthusiastic attitude working within a team
• Willingness and availability to work breakfast shifts at 33 Grill & Bar, including early morning starts.
• Cocktail & Wine knowledge highly regarded
• Creative thinking and problem solving skills
• Determination to maintain high standards and exceed customer expectations will be your strength
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills both verbal & written
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Previous experience with Opera
• Ability to work flexibly with scheduled weekends and holidays
• Strong on the job performance history
• Current RSA
