Department Trainer - Housekeeping (Internal Applicants Only)

The Housekeeping Department at Novotel Sydney West HQ have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Room Attendant to provide ongoing support and training to new and existing team members in the position of Department Trainer. 

 

This opportunity is open to internal applicants only.

 

Trainer shifts will be rostered on an as needs basis as determined by the business.  When Trainer shifts are not available, Room Attendant shifts will be rostered.

Someone who has genuine enthusiasm and pride in their work, who knows the ways to maintain a passion for their work, and deeply cares about the results of training. 

What do you need to be considered?

  • Have a keen eye for detail 
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Confident in training delivery
  • Excellent knowledge on Housekeeping operations
  • Patient and understanding
  • Ability to correct actions where necessary and provide valuable feedback
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to make others feel at ease and comfortable
  • Ability to encourage, coach and support others
  • Previous experience in training team members (preferred but not essential)
