We’re looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Stewards to join our busy Food & Beverage team.

As a Kitchen Steward, you’ll play an important role in supporting our chefs and kitchen teams by keeping our kitchens clean, organised and running smoothly.

The Day to Day

As part of our kitchen team, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating wash-up areas and ensuring a constant supply of clean crockery, cutlery, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, benches and work areas
• Sweeping and mopping floors and maintaining clean and safe kitchen areas
• Removing rubbish and disposing of waste correctly
• Assisting with opening and closing cleaning procedures
• Ensuring cleaning chemicals and equipment are used and stored safely
• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
• Reporting hazards, damaged equipment or maintenance concerns to your manager
• Supporting the wider kitchen team as required

Our Perfect Fit

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and isn’t afraid to get stuck in. You take pride in keeping your work area clean and organised, work well as part of a team and can keep up in a busy kitchen environment.

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or similar role is desirable
• An understanding of food hygiene and workplace safety requirements
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and Safety Data Sheets is an advantage
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to support the kitchen team
• Availability across seven days, including mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Full Australian working rights
