About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team on a full-time basis. Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional food quality and consistency while contributing to a positive and professional kitchen culture.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present dishes to the highest standard in line with CHU’s menu specifications
Manage your designated section during service
Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are maintained
Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
Adhere to all food safety and WHS requirements
Support and mentor junior kitchen team members
Contribute ideas for menu development and continuous improvement
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Commis Chef ready to step up
Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine and cooking techniques (highly regarded)
Relevant commercial cookery qualifications
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
A passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
