We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Membership Sales & Service Leader to lead our Membership Consultant team and oversee all Front of House operations, including membership sales, reception services and café operations.

 

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone who is passionate about people, customer experience and commercial success.  You will create a high-performing, accountable, and customer-focused culture while ensuring every member, guest and prospective member enjoys an exceptional and consistent experience.

 

As a hands-on leader, you will combine strong sales leadership, operational excellence and people development to drive membership growth, maximise revenue and bring the ONE55 brand to life every day.

 

 

About the Role

 

Reporting to the Club Manager, you will lead the Membership Sales team, ensuring the successful delivery of sales, service and front of house operations.  You will coach and develop your team, optimise operational performance and create an engaging environment that reflects our brand values and commitment to exceptional member experiences.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and inspire the Membership Sales team to achieve and exceed membership sales, retention and revenue targets.
  • Drive lead generation initiatives, referral programs and promotional campaigns to maximise new member acquisition.
  • Monitor sales pipelines and ensure timely follow-up of all enquires and prospects.
  • Identify new opportunities to increase revenue through member engagement and commercial initiatives.
  • Analyse sales, customer service and operational data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and distribute regular sales, membership and performance reports.
  • Champion a customer-first culture across front of house operations.
  • Ensure every member, guest and prospective member receives a welcoming, professional and consistent experience.
  • Build lasting relationships that encourage member loyalty, retention and advocacy.

You will be an experienced people leader who enjoys developing teams, building relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You understand that commercial success comes from engaged people, operational discipline and a relentless focus on the customer.

 

Whilst on the job training is provided, you will ideally have:

 

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in sales or customer service.
  • Proven success leading teams to achieve sales, revenue and service KPIs.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring and performance management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
  • Confidence interpreting sales and operational data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong computer literacy and experience using a CRM or membership management systems (PerfectMind/XR experience is highly desirable).
  • Experience within fitness, health, hospitality or retail (preferred).
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain).
