This position will cover periods of planned annual leave and other times as required, with an immediate need for availability throughout the upcoming Christmas and New Year period. - Full training will be provided, so you’ll feel confident and well-equipped to succeed in the role.

About the role: The Relief Roster Administrator plays a vital role in maintaining workforce scheduling across the business. You will be responsible for: Creating and publishing weekly rosters for approximately 700 employees Managing and processing employee leave requests Ensuring rostering compliance with the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award (including clauses related to hours of work, overtime, and penalty rates)
While this role offers variety and flexibility, it also involves repetitive tasks such as managing and updating schedules and leave requests on a weekly basis. Staying engaged and detail-oriented is essential to ensure accuracy and compliance. This role works in close partnership with the Payroll Specialist, requiring efficient communication and collaboration to ensure accurate and timely payroll outcomes. You’ll need to be flexible and available to work outside standard 9:00am–5:00pm hours when required, particularly around roster finalisation deadlines. Who's right for the job? We are looking for someone who: Has a strong understanding of how our business operates, including the various departments and their unique needs Can work independently, with sound judgment Demonstrates excellent time management and can work to tight deadlines Is comfortable working at a computer for extended periods Has the ability to interpret and apply Award provisions Maintains a high standard of confidentiality in all aspects of work Ability to understand and interpret clauses within the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award (hours of work, overtime, penalty rates) Ability to undertake detailed work with a high level of accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication skills High level of computer literacy The ability to preserve confidentiality Experience with time manager is preferred (not essential) Good Work History, on the job performance and time and attendance
