Centre Services Coordinator

We are recruiting for a motivated and detail-oriented Centre Services Coordinator to drive retail and merchandise performance across the Sydney Gymnastic & Aquatic Centre and ONE55 Health & Fitness. 

 

About the Role:

 

In this hands-on role, you will manage and grow retail and merchandise operations by ensuring product offerings are relevant, well-presented, and aligned with our diverse customer base. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver innovative retail strategies and maximise sales opportunities.

 

You will also support customer enquiries, manage orders, and play a key role during major event days to drive retail engagement and spend.

 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Drive retail performance through effective merchandising, pricing, and product placement
  • Plan and deliver creative retail campaigns and promotions aligned with centre activities
  • Analyse sales data and customer trends to forecast demand and optimise product ranges
  • Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to manage stock, pricing, and delivery timelines
  • Maintain high visual merchandising standards across all retail spaces
  • Support sales growth, productivity targets, and customer engagement initiatives
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support team members in selling retail products
  • Build strong relationships with customers, teams, and external partners
  • Develop and maintain monthly visual merchandising standards

  • Liaise with key department managers to ensure promotions are in line with activities in-centre

  • Source quotes, order and distribute Member Uniforms, merchandise and café items

You will have:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role, with strong service and communication skills
  • A keen interest in retail, merchandising, or sales performance
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confidence working with stakeholders and building relationships
  • A customer-first mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Desirable:

  • Experience in merchandising or retail coordination
  • Certificate IV in Retail Management
  • Knowledge of sport, recreation, or hospitality environments
