About Our Restaurants

Chu Restaurant by China Doll & New Town Thai offers exciting, high-volume Pan-Asian dining experiences where speed, skill, and flavour come together. Chu Restaurant by China Doll serves modern Pan-Asian dishes and is also known for its delicious dumplings. New Town Thai offers authentic, bold Thai street-food flavours, including wok-cooked dishes. Both restaurants thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, perfect for chefs and cooks who love working under pressure and delivering exceptional food consistently.  

About you:

Someone who has experience in Thai dishes, wok, or Pan-Asian Cuisine. Someone who thrives working in a friendly, fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Somone who is passionate about cooking.

Someone who doesn’t mind working a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays is a must.

What do you need to be considered?

• You must be an experienced Wok Chef or Cook
• Experience in Thai dishes and/or Pan Asian Cuisine
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• Be able to work under pressure, in a heated environment
• Excellent, friendly attitude
• Willing to work a range of shifts including lunch and dinner as required
• Available to work across any of the 7 days a week including nights, weekends and public holidays
• Full Australian working rights
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards are advantageous
