SGAC is Sydney’s leading leisure venue! Our busy indoor Aquatic Centre is bathed in natural light, spacious and modern, creating an ideal environment for swimmers and team members alike.  Currently, we attract 3,400 learn to swim students every week, over 5000 students annually through our schools program and 70,000 visitors a year!

The day to day:

The Senior Lifeguard acts as an Aquatic Technical Operator whilst also providing vigilant supervision of Pool users, undertaking water testing to ensure water quality, and safety, operating plant and equipment and general maintenance and cleaning of the entire SGAC precinct as directed. The Senior Lifeguard supports the Coordinator to promote quality operational and service and acts as First Aid Warden in the case of emergency evacuation.

• A qualified Senior Lifeguard with strong attention to detail and the ability to remain engaged in a repetitive work environment. 
• Pool Lifeguard Licence (essential)
• Pool Technical Operations Certificate (essential)
• General Knowledge of the leisure/recreation industry
• Working with Children Check (essential)
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate and CPR
